Liberty Media's (LMCA) John Malone purchased a $38 million home on Florida's Jupiter Island making it the most expensive home ever sold on the island off of Florida's East Coast. Engel & Volkers Real Estate said the home was the most sought after privately marketed properties on Jupiter Island. The Ocean-to-Intracoastal property sits on just a little more than 9 acres of land. The property has a couple of hundred feet of oceanfront and over 500 feet frontage along the Intracoastal Waterway. The house is set atop a high point on the island which will give the new owners panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean at sunrise and sunset views over the Intracoastal. The home consists of a guest house, private boat dock and a beach house. Engel & Volkers' Marketing Director Kandyce Meierling said, 'Jupiter Island has always had a reputation as a haven of peace and traquility that is ideal for those seeking privacy and exclusivity.'
