The sell off gives investors the opportunity to get in for a longer-term position, says Jack Mohr of Action Alerts PLUS. Jim Cramer and Mohr own Twitter in the portfolio. Mike Khouw of Action Alerts OPTIONS points out social media stocks in general have been under pressure, but Twitter is only 25% above its post-IPO low and the options premium is elevated. Taking advantage of a premium sale may improve the cost basis on existing positions.
