On Wednesday, April 29th the Federal Open Market Committee meeting wraps us with an announcement. In March, the group said an interest rate increase at this session 'remains unlikely.' Wall Street will be looking out for clues as to any changes coming up. On the earnings front, we get quarterly financial results from MasterCard Inc (MA), Time Warner Inc (TWX), and Mondelez International (MDLZ), Northrop Grumman Corp (NOC), Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc (HLT), and Marriott International Inc (MAR). On the economic calendar, we note first quarter GDP, pending home sales, the EIA petroleum status report, and the earlier mentioned FOMC announcement.
