Christina Ha established herself as a trendsetter when she opened Macaron Parlour in New York in 2010. Now she's at it again with her new venture, Meow Parlour. Cat cafes started in Asia in the 90s, and the concept has since become a global trend. New York’s first cat cafe opened to great fanfare in December 2014, and Meow Parlour’s booking calendar continues to sell out months in advance. Customers can do more than pay to play with the cats; all of the cats at Meow Parlour are adoptable. For those that get hungry while visiting, Macaron Parlour is just around the corner. Don’t worry, they deliver. Ha has run into her fair share of skeptics, but so far she is proving them wrong.
