Walmart is now offering GoBank, a checking account product from Green Dot Bank. The company says its checking accounts don't have overdraft, minimum balance or monthly fees with qualifying direct deposits of $500 a month. Green Dot believes customers will find low fees among the most attractive features of the GoBank checking account, which will be linked to MasterCard debit cards. It also boasts easy money management for on-the-go consumers like pay-anyone bill pay and budgeting tools as well as early payroll direct deposit and advice on spending from GoBank's 'Fortune Teller' feature. The product will be available nationwide by the end of October.
