The National Cannabis Industry Association launched the CannaBusiness Summit this year to educate and provide entrepreneurs a forum to expand their emerging brands. The first annual event took place at the Denver Convention Center on June 24 and 25. An estimated 1,200 participants attended the ticketed conference, including FunkSac CEO Garett Fortune, who launched his packaging company two years ago. Some 49 entrepreneurs showed off their cannabis related wares at the trade show inside the Denver Convention Center. Addison Morris came to spread the word about her tour company Colorado Rocky Mountain High Tours, which caters to the mature professional whose average age is 60 years old. Snoop Dog's brother in law Dr. Marlon Fuller promoted BudgetWeed.com, a directory of medical and recreational dispensaries whose marijuana products can be searched by price.
