Guinness announced it would not sponsor the New York City St. Patrick's Day parade over the organizers' discrimination against LGBTQ groups marching in the parade. Diageo's North American President Larry Schwartz tells TheStreet's Debra Borchardt they tried to influence change, but when that was unsuccessful they decided to leave the parade. Even though Diageo got off to a slow start in sales this year, March seems to be picking up for the beverage giant.
