Gold prices are slightly higher on Friday, and have risen more than 3% in January. For investors deciding whether to invest in gold ETFs or gold miners, Chart Prophet Chief Investment Officer Yoni Jacobs tells TheStreet's Joe Deaux that he is looking at Alcoa and Cliffs Natural Resources as upside stocks. Jacobs says that he would not be trading gold miners unless a market participant wants to have a position in the gold space. Jacobs also offers is technical trading range for the yellow metal.
