Are we down on the European resurgence of Covid? Or the European resurgence of crummy bank news? Or are we down on the states that have Covid rising, states I believe where people may have an aversion to wearing masks and social distancing?
No matter, we have been down for three weeks now. We sold down all of our tech in the last week of August. We are anxious to upgrade and we are doing some buying.
I am not saying enough is enough. I am saying that many people are acting as if they just discovered there is a selloff. We have been living with this selloff to where many of the faves are down double digits. Can they go lower? Of course. But then I do not think that Union Pacific (UNP) and Norfolk Southern (NSC) and FedEx (FDX) can go up forever even as I like them all.
We rallied, because China's President Xi and Fed Chair Powell made decisions that they knew would lead to rallies.
