Everest Re Group (RE) is a reinsurance company that provides insurance and reinsurance for property, worker's comp, crops and accidents. Yesterday the company said that it expects a Q1 combined ratio below 100% for consolidated reinsurance and insurance operations, including losses for expected claims related to the pandemic. A ratio below 100% indicates that the company is making an underwriting profit so I wonder what is going on with the stock looking so weak.
