Prior to joining Kitco News in October 2008, Daniela worked as a liaison between the Canadian and Italian government as the Communications Director for the Italian Ministry of Research in Rome where she was often invited to present findings at the European Parliament in Brussels. During her five years in Rome, Daniela also worked as a political and current events reporter covering high-profile events including the United Nations High-Level Summit on Food & Agriculture (FAO).
