Tellurian Is Bearish On All Our Charts

Indicators offer no signs of an end to Tellurian's troubles.

Stocks quotes in this article: TELL

Tellurian Inc. (TELL) has been under selling pressure since early 2017 and further declines appear likely. A test and probable break of the March low is my forecast. Let's see how I got there.

In this daily bar chart of TELL, below, we can see how prices have swung up and down and down again the past twelve months. The 200-day moving average line has had a negative or bearish slope for most of the year. The 50-day average line is also in a decline and crossed below the 200-day line last month. The daily On-Balance-Volume (OBV) line has been in a decline for months telling us that sellers of TELL have been more aggressive. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) oscillator is improving but still well below the zero line in bearish territory.

In this weekly bar chart of TELL, below, we can see that prices are below the declining 40-week moving average line. The weekly OBV line is pointed down as is the MACD oscillator. All bearish.

In this Point and Figure chart of TELL, below, we can see a downside price target of $6.63 but I would not be surprised by further losses.

Bottom line: With these weak charts I find no reason to go long TELL.
