The consolidation talk and reality never seem to end in the tech world. Now we hear that Analog Devices (ADI) is in talks to acquire Linear Tech (LLTC) , which is halted.
You can't make this stuff up. And we wonder why Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has been so hot or that Micron (MU) is on the run. Linear Tech is a fine company but there are too many companies in the space and even after the ARM Holdings (ARMH) deal, there's much more to come.
It's incredible. And it is happening right before our eyes.
