Berkshire Weakness Is Time to Buy

Buffett's confident of beating it and it's never been his style to overpromise and under deliver.

Why sell Warren Buffett Inc. if it isn't Warren Buffett Inc.?

I see the volume after hours and I think it is ridiculous. First, Buffett says his prostate cancer is treatable, of which the literature most definitely confirms. Second, he's working just fine with his usual intensity. Third, he's confident of beating it and it has never been Buffett's style to overpromise and under deliver.

More importantly, this book of diverse businesses -- some would say totally unrelated diverse businesses -- would do just fine with any of the three potentially designated successors Buffett talked about with Becky Quick this evening.

Buffett's had a hugely-levered hand to insurance premiums, train transport, chemicals, housing and pipelines. They are all either doing well or about to turn up, with the possible exception of Burlington Northern, although CSX (CSX) told a real good story tonight and the old BNI has better coal leverage than CSX.

Altogether you want to hope this one gets hammered.

It's a terrific opportunity to buy.
