Jim Cramer: Hats Off to TJX

Turns in retail last longer than people think.
By JIM CRAMER Feb 28, 2018 | 10:56 AM EST
Stocks quotes in this article: TJX, KSS, M, AMZN

Just a quick note to acknowledge that my hat is off to TJX Cos.  (TJX) for finally getting it right. They had missed and missed and missed, and we finally fought the battle and exited for Action Alerts PLUS. It's a must good to point that turns in retail, like the one we have seen in Kohl's (KSS) , like the one we have seen in Macy's (M) and now the one we have seen in TJX, last longer than people think so I am counseling not selling despite the big lift.

Of course, to be fair to us at the club we have sold losers to buy shares in the greatest retailer on earth, Amazon (AMZN) , so it isn't like we don't have any. But as I tell club members, we are well aware of how we sold TJX lower -- you should sample the club and watch our videos -- and TJX hit it out of the park.

Action Alerts PLUS, which Cramer co-manages as a charitable trust, is long AMZN.
