Wow, what a battleground. Bonds say buy. Oil says sell. VIX says big time sell.

PepsiCo's (PEP) good. No one cares because of the conservative guidance. Caterpillar (CAT) sales across the board are gigantic. Under Armour's (UAA) inventories are lean.

Total battleground.

Don't buy or sell the first move. We don't know enough yet about the inputs.

Let me make a point about the manipulation charges of the VIX. I think CBOE (CBOE)  , the company is impeccably honest. But that's not the point. The point is that these products are way too easily manipulated and we need much higher margin-100% with no indirect possibilities no cross margining and we need circuit breakers to calm the "fast breeder" issue.

This is NOT the time to frighten the public out of equities.

That's why we have to focus on protecting the individual for once. Otherwise it's going to be back to the past and the retail investor gets obliterated again.
