Sure, it's mostly on Avis (CAR) . But you never want to see that Dow Jones Transportation Average drop -- even if it's a major car-rental company leading the index down because the company sees continuing pressure on its business.
We also don't want to see the stocks of United Parcel Service (UPS) and Fedex (FDX) down, because that speaks directly to e-commerce. The airlines and the rails are holding on, but they aren't making up for Avis being down more than 10%.
Stay close to this leadership group. It has been a phenomenal barometer of what's to come. Short-term, it can bring down any rally because of its visibility and its need to keep treading higher if we believe that commerce is on track.
