Today may see the Dow Jones Industrials continue to toy with the 20,000 level. I have exposure to strong themes, such as financials and energy, and am opportunistically looking to add exposure to my other themes of value and small-caps.

I recommended a good play on the small-cap iShares Russell 2000 (IWM) into year-end, but I don't have any open trades there now.

In addition to my main themes, I'm always searching for opportunities in other areas and have plays in a trending technology stock, Nvidia (NVDA) , and a play in luxury retailer Tiffany & Co. (TIF) .

Another theme I'm considering is online commerce. Growth Seeker portfolio name Amazon (AMZN) continues to impress with strong growth in ecommerce.

Payments companies are one avenue to participate in the growth of ecommerce transactions. Companies in this space include MasterCard (MA) , Visa (V) , Vantiv (VNTV) , Fiserv (FISV) , Total System Services (TSS) , Global Payments (GPN) , Square (SQ) , Paypal (PYPL) and First Data (FDC) .

In fact, MA made a new all-time high on Friday. I wondered how MA has fared after making a 60-day high. Here's a table with the forward returns for MA since 2013 under this setup:

MA tends to rally a bit 20 days out after making a 60-day high. I think MA finds support between $100 and $103.
