Humana was downgraded at Jefferies to "Hold" from "Buy" to with a $221 price target.
Their overseas business has been carrying them.
This reversal has been incredible to watch.
With a strong chart and indicators, shares are poised to make further new highs.

Health Care Putting in a Base Real Money Pro($)

Healthcare stocks had a heckuva four-year period of over-performance that ended in the summer of 2015. Since then the Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) (40% pharma and 15% biotech) has had a series of trading-range moves as sector prices lagged. Last year more than $18 billion was redeemed out of the healthcare ETFs, according to Morningstar. However there are some technical signposts that the two-year period of underperformance might be ending, as a basing seems likely. Look at the chart and note the recent higher high.
There are too many zero-sum games being portrayed as win-wins.

It looks like consolidation among the large health insurers is deader than a doornail. Anthem's (ANTH) $54 billion deal to buy Cigna (CI) was blocked by a federal judge yesterday. This follows a recent court-ordered halt that looks like it could derail the potential combination of Aetna (AET) and Humana (HUM) . There are a lot of unknowns about the overall health care market right now, as no one knows what will happen with the Affordable Care Act this year.
