Recent trademark filings show the online retail giant is looking to attack the growing meal kit business.
As always, it was good seeing everyone on the Daily Diary sitting in for Doug Kass. Lots of good conversation despite a quiet day in the market with the market indices ending the day pretty much where they started. Very narrow range of trading throughout the day. United Health (UNH)  and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ)  will kick off earnings from the healthcare sector tomorrow.

Security Breach Dings FedEx Real Money Pro($)

The market flat to slightly higher to open the new trading week. The costs of hacking and cyber-security lapses continues to escalate. FedEx (FDX)  is latest well-known firm to find this out. The company was the victim of an attack in June at its TNT subsidiary. It said it expects the damage from the event to be "material." FedEx also stated that TNT customers continue to experience service and invoicing delays and that it is "reasonably possible that TNT will be unable to fully restore all of the affected systems and recover all of the critical business data that was encrypted by the virus"
And that's just one of the stocks that wouldn't be worth owning even as a gift.
