As co-portfolio manager of Action Alerts PLUS, she is responsible for the daily management of the fund, including macro strategy, portfolio construction and stock selection. She also writes daily alerts and weekly summary reports for subscribers.

Link is a CNBC contributor and appears regularly on" Fast Money: Halftime Report," "Closing Bell," and "Squawk Box."

Prior to joining TheStreet, she was director of research and head of institutional equity sales at Prudential Equity Group. She began her career as an institutional salesperson at Dean Witter. She earned a B.S. degree in finance from Boston College.Collapse

As oil continues to decline, it's time for a portfolio strategy.
The stock seems to have bottomed in the low $90s.
Even so, it does give the Fed some cover.
The turnaround effected by its new management team has caught my attention.
Low rates and bullish company calls mean these building-material plays look good.
