Amazing money in. Amazing dearth of stock. Where are all of those sellers who hated the market? Where are all of those people who are worried about the debt-ceiling debacle?
To me, there is as much seller's remorse as I have ever seen, combined with pent-up demand for stocks from all sorts of retirement plans. Those who sold because of tax-gain reasons are back buying again. Those who sold stocks because dividends weren't supposed to be as tax-advantaged as they turned out to be are back buying.
And best of all, we know what we are going to pay in taxes! I love the certainty, and others do too, and that is how you could get the biggest rally in four years.
No sellers to speak of. Tons of buyers.
