A Major Relief Rally Takes Hold

Amazing money in. Amazing dearth of stock. Where are all of those sellers who hated the market? Where are all of those people who are worried about the debt-ceiling debacle?

To me, there is as much seller's remorse as I have ever seen, combined with pent-up demand for stocks from all sorts of retirement plans. Those who sold because of tax-gain reasons are back buying again. Those who sold stocks because dividends weren't supposed to be as tax-advantaged as they turned out to be are back buying.

And best of all, we know what we are going to pay in taxes! I love the certainty, and others do too, and that is how you could get the biggest rally in four years.

No sellers to speak of. Tons of buyers.
